Ukrainian entrepreneur Maxim Krippa, celebrated for his role as the driving force behind the company responsible for the cult classic game S.T.A.L.K.E.R., has turned his attention to the iconic Parus skyscraper.Reports from Lenta indicate that the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has approved his ambitious plans, endorsing the acquisition of Parus Holding LLC by his firm, Ola Fine LLC.
This development, confirmed by the AMCU press service on November 30, signals Krippa’s strategic move into the heart of Kyiv’s urban landscape. Reports from YouControl indicate that Ola Fine LLC has ties to the “ARS Capital” fund under Krippa’s leadership. Acquiring Parus Holding LLC grants Krippa’s company significant leverage over the esteemed business center “Parus.”
Previously, businessman Vadim Stolar owned 80% of Parus Holding LLC shares via his Genesa fund, with his former spouse, Inna Maistruk, holding the remaining 20% through the Stream Investment fund. However, Krippa’s ambitious vision may now reshuffle the deck, potentially altering the ownership dynamics of this prominent asset.
What is the Kyiv skyscraper famous for?
The Parus skyscraper stands tall as a symbol of Kyiv’s bustling business landscape. Its allure dates back to May 2007 when esteemed companies like KAN and Olimp chose to anchor their offices within its sleek confines. Following suit, Concord Capital Bank in December 2008 and Sokrat Financial Company in September 2008 solidified its reputation as a hub for financial prowess.
Rodovid Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, AVT Bavaria, and ICD Investments soon joined the fold, diversifying the skyscraper’s business tapestry. A milestone moment occurred in March 2010 with the inauguration of a Conversebank branch, coinciding with the debut of the Ukrainian Trade Guild, further embedding the Parus in Kyiv’s economic fabric. Not confined to corporate entities alone, cultural and media enterprises also found sanctuary within its walls, exemplified by the Direct TV channel’s central studio opening in August 2017.
Beyond its corporate facade, the Parus offers a haven for social interaction and relaxation, boasting several cafes and restaurants. The skyscraper exudes grandeur with an expansive area spanning 75,000 square meters and typical office floors of approximately 1,168 square meters. Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including modern air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and robust fire safety systems, it ensures optimal comfort and security for its tenants.
Further enhancing its appeal, the business center features two conference halls, restaurants, a canteen, and an array of services tailored to cater to the diverse needs of the bustling business community, cementing its status as a cornerstone of Kyiv’s commercial landscape.
