MANTEC was founded in 1988 and serves nine counties in Pennsylvania: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York. It is one of seven private nonprofit Industrial Resource Centers in Pennsylvania. By providing them with services that improve their worldwide competitiveness, the group hopes to empower and engage manufacturers while also improving diversity, sustainability, and quality of life. Process improvement, workforce engagement, manufacturing technology integration, and sales and marketing strategies are just a few of the many services that MANTEC provides. Through a variety of training programs, including Project Management Fundamentals, OSHA 30 Training, and Lean Six Sigma, they also offer professional development. In order to promote networking and knowledge exchange among professionals in the field, MANTEC also organizes events such as the SMART Manufacturing Conference and Manufacturing Matters seminars.
