Upgrade Magento to ver 2.3.5-p1 with composer
Magento released 2.3.5-p1 that includes 180 functional fixes, 25 security enhancements.
This version also includes support for Elasticsearch 7.x, migration of the Zend framework to Laminas.
Magento strongly recommends merchants to upgrade their stores as soon as possible.
To upgrade the stores to ver 2.3.5-p1 is going to be a common business requirement for merchants, So we are providing the steps to upgrade Magento ver to 2.3.5-p1 with the composer.

- Take Backup of composer.json file
cp composer.json composer.json.backup
- Create a backup of your DB (strongly recommended)
mysqldump -u username -p databasename > mysqlbackup.sql
- Enable maintenance mode
- Run composer command
composer require magento/product-community-edition=2.3.5-p1 --no-update
- Run composer update
- Clear caches and clear generated content
rm -rf var/cache/*
rm -rf var/page_cache/*
rm -rf generated/code/*
- Upgrade Database schema, compilation and static content deploy
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
- Disable maintenance mode
- Run your application
